3 IN 1 CHEMICALS

Phosphoric acid based cleaners which performs 3 functions of degreasing, derusting & coating - deposition of minute coat of iron phosphate on ferrous surface and hence named so. As the processes of cleaning & coating are combined in a single tank, the system is also called as Cleaner-Coater System.

The process is easy to install and operate. However, the adhesion and life of the paint/ powder coat are not as much as that attained with eight tank process.
The process may be employed where the compromise with the adhesion and life of the coating is not objectionable, the process being economical and easy to operate. This process may also have to be used for very large size articles which can not be dipped in the eight tank process.

  2. Dipping followed by immediate wiping with dry cloth.
  3. Wiping with 3 in 1 chemical, followed by immediate wiping with dry cloth.
